One of the most hidden treasures about Native American society is their love for a good laugh. Within any given reservation, the Indian culture retains its built-in sense of humor. This documentary will visit many Indian reservations in North America and Canada and capture the casual conversations amongst the Native people. It will be impossible to avoid their cutting words and love to make other people smile.

 

The second part of this project will focus on the professional Native comics that are making their way on stage through the early effort of famed Charlie Hill who made his entrance on the Johnny Carson show in 1971. He showed the world that Hollywood doesn’t have an exclusive on the planets funniest people.
