Floyd Red Crow Westerman was a respected actor, singer, and activist.  He was known to have the special gift of provoking laughter in situations of despair. His voice gave people hope in times of darkness but challenged them when they take themselves too seriously. Floyd was also a guardian of truth compelled to challenge wrongness. Floyd Red Crow Westerman was this kind of man.
